All About Communication Cards

Give young people the most important skill they need for adult life, the ability to communicate effectively.

Young people frequently fail to develop communication skills needed for adult life, and some do not have an understanding of the appropriate use of words and language so that ‘text-speak’ is misused in formal situations, the wrong impressions are unintentionally given and opportunities are lost.

These cards suggest ideas about the impact  of our words, together the skills of both talking and listening: enable the students to consider their own skill development.
